How it works

Sourcing to support, in five steps

Hiring an offshore bookkeeper shouldn't be a black box. Here's exactly how we take you from a signed engagement to a dedicated bookkeeper running in your systems — and what happens after.

01

Sourcing

We recruit from a vetted pool of Philippines-based accounting talent

Our recruiters source from a network of accounting graduates and experienced bookkeepers across the Philippines. We look for accountancy degrees, software certifications (QuickBooks ProAdvisor, Xero Advisor), and documented U.S. firm or BPO experience. We don't pull from a general virtual-assistant pool — every candidate is an accounting candidate.

  • →Accountancy degree required
  • →Software certifications verified
  • →U.S. GAAP curriculum background
  • →Documented bookkeeping experience
02

Vetting

Candidates are tested on real bookkeeping scenarios, not just interviews

Every candidate completes a practical assessment: a messy bank feed to reconcile, a multi-currency close, a chart-of-accounts cleanup. We verify certifications rather than taking them at face value, and we screen written communication — because a bookkeeper who can't explain a journal entry in writing costs your reviewer time.

  • →Practical reconciliation and close test
  • →Certifications verified, not assumed
  • →Written communication screened
  • →Background and reference checks
03

Interview

You interview a shortlist and make the hiring call

We send you a shortlist of 2–4 vetted candidates with our notes. You interview them — ask them to walk through a recent close, how they'd handle a reconciliation that doesn't balance, what software they're certified in. You choose. We never assign someone you haven't spoken to.

  • →2–4 vetted candidates per role
  • →You interview and you decide
  • →Notes and references included
  • →No assignment without your sign-off
04

Onboarding

A structured 30-60-90 plan gets your bookkeeper productive fast

Access is provisioned with role-based permissions. Your bookkeeper shadows on two pilot clients for the first close cycle, then takes ownership, then scales. Weekly check-ins with your account manager keep quality high during ramp-up. By day 60 your bookkeeper is at full capacity on assigned clients.

  • →Role-based access, not shared logins
  • →Shadow → own → scale structure
  • →Weekly check-ins first month
  • →Full capacity by ~day 60
05

Ongoing support

A dedicated account manager stays with you for the long run

Your account manager — who has staffed bookkeepers themselves — stays your single point of contact for performance, scaling, and anything in between. Need a second bookkeeper? A senior reviewer? A payroll specialist? They scope it with you. Engagements are month-to-month, so we earn your business every month.

  • →Dedicated account manager
  • →Single point of contact
  • →Scale up or down anytime
  • →Month-to-month, no lock-in
